Behind the Curtain

The Art of Empowered Parenting

A powerful 90-minute parenting workshop that helps you better understand behavior, connection, and influence at home — and for families who want to go deeper, it also serves as the introduction to the ROOTS Grounded Parenting series.

Parenting is shaped in the small moments.

Not in the big talks.
Not in the perfect plan.

In the everyday moments.

When frustration rises.
When a child shuts down.
When a mistake happens.
When there is one chance to respond.

That’s where children are learning:

Who they are.
How safe it is to make mistakes.
What relationships feel like.
What to expect when things get hard.

Most parents care deeply.

What’s often missing is a clear understanding of what’s happening in those moments…
and how much influence is actually there.

When that becomes clear, something shifts.

Reactions slow down.
Responses become more intentional.

And those same small moments begin to build trust, resilience, and connection instead of tension.

A standalone workshop with life lasting value

Behind the Curtain is a complete experience on its own.

Behind the Curtain introduces the heart of the work.

The ROOTS grounded parenting series builds on that foundation through an additional 5 class journey designed to help parents move from insight to generational shifting practice.

You do not have to commit to the full series to benefit from this workshop. This first class is valuable on its own — and even more powerful for those who choose to continue.

The ROOTS Series includes:

Class 1: Behind the Curtain
Understanding influence, behavior, and the hidden power of everyday parenting moments.

Class 2: Regulate
Calming the body so the mind can respond clearly.

Class 3: Observe
Seeing patterns, triggers, and behavior without blame or assumption.

Class 4: Own
Modeling responsibility, repair, honesty, and emotional maturity.

Class 5: Transform
Turning conflict, mistakes, and struggle into connection and character growth.

Class 6: Sustain
Creating consistency, energy, and long-term family momentum.
