Behind the Curtain
The Art of Empowered Parenting
A 6-part experience built on the ROOTS parenting framework—giving parents a clear, practical way to guide everyday moments with confidence.
Why This Workshop Matters
Parenting is not shaped by the big talks we plan.
It’s shaped by the small moments we almost miss.
The moment a child fails and looks to see how we respond.
The moment frustration rises.
The moment a mistake happens and we decide what the lesson will be.
In those moments, children are learning something deeper than rules.
They are learning:
Who they are.
How to handle pressure.
How safe it is to try again.
Most parents are doing their best.

This series is built around a simple, powerful framework parents can use in everyday moments:
ROOTS
Regulate — calm the body so the mind can respond clearly
Observe — recognize patterns without blame or assumption
Own — take responsibility and model repair when needed
Transform — turn challenges into opportunities for growth
Sustain — build consistent habits that strengthen the family over time
Each session focuses on one part of this system—helping parents move from reacting in the moment…
to guiding their family with clarity and confidence.

The Three P’s
Perfection • Performance • Pressure
👉 What’s quietly damaging confidence
THREE-PROMISE SECTION
In This Workshop, Parents Will Learn How To:
Use three columns if possible in Squarespace.
Stay calm and clear during stressful parenting moments
Instead of reacting in ways they regret.
Turn everyday conflicts into opportunities that build confidence and resilience
So children grow stronger through challenges, not just protected from them.
Avoid the hidden traps of perfection, performance, and pressure
That often create unnecessary stress for both parents and kids.
PRACTICAL TOOLS PARENTS WILL TAKE HOME
Once parents see these patterns clearly, they need simple tools to guide those moments.
This workshop introduces practical frameworks parents can use immediately.
The AAA Reset
A simple system that helps parents move from reaction to intentional leadership.
Awareness
Attention
Accountability
When the family car starts swerving, AAA helps get everyone back on the road.
The ROOTS Parenting Framework
A practical structure for guiding children through difficult moments.
Parents learn how to:
Regulate emotional moments
Observe behavior patterns without blame
Own mistakes and repair connection
Transform conflict into learning opportunities
Sustain habits that strengthen family relationships
Recognizing the Three Parenting Traps
Many families unknowingly fall into patterns that create unnecessary pressure.
Parents will learn how to recognize and avoid the three poisonous P’s:
Perfection
Performance
Pressure
And how to replace them with healthier expectations that help children grow strong rather than overwhelmed.
WHO THIS WORKSHOP IS FOR
This workshop is designed for parents who want to:
Reduce power struggles and stressful moments at home
Respond to difficult parenting situations with greater calm and clarity
Strengthen communication and connection with their children
Raise kids who are confident, resilient, and capable of handling challenges
It’s also ideal for parents who want to give their child an edge in life by helping them develop the emotional intelligence, confidence, and resilience that support success in school, relationships, and adulthood.
Whether your child is thriving or struggling, this workshop helps parents create the kind of environment where children grow stronger, more capable, and more self-aware.
What many haven’t been shown is how powerful these everyday moments really are.
When parents begin to understand what’s happening behind the curtain in those moments, something changes.
Instead of reacting automatically, they begin to guide those moments with awareness, attention, and accountability.
And that’s where parenting becomes incredibly powerful.
Because when parents shift even slightly…
Children often grow in confidence, resilience, and emotional strength in ways that surprise everyone
What Parents Will Discover
This interactive workshop explores how the brain, emotions, and attention shape family life in ways most people never see clearly.
Parents will discover:
✔ Why our brains automatically filter and interpret behavior
✔ Why conflicts escalate even when parents have good intentions
✔ How emotional patterns quietly pass from parent to child
✔ How attention shapes the way we interpret our children’s behavior
✔ How small shifts can dramatically change everyday parenting moments
and begin to feel like they are leading their family with greater intention and confidence.
