Why Parents Reach Out

  • Emotional rollercoasters or shutdowns

  • Tricky friendships, social anxiety, or “doesn’t fit in”

  • Focus, motivation, or follow-through feels hard

  • Patterns around self-harm or big feelings that scare everyone

  • Neurodiversity (autism/ADHD) and a need for practical tools that actually help

Promise, in plain English: your child gets simple, evidence-informed practices they can use today; you get a clear plan and language that works at home and school.

The Mindful M3 Formula

Mindset + Manners + Movement = Lifestyle

  • Mindset: noticing thoughts, naming feelings, choosing next steps

  • Manners: empathy, boundaries, repair, and community skills

  • Movement: breath, body awareness, sensory resets, and posture power
Together, these create daily habits that shape identity, confidence, and calm.

What Sessions Look Like

A session feels like:

  • 3-5 minute breath + body reset (wiggle fingers/toes, roll shoulders, freeze → melt like honey)

  • A skill of the day (e.g., “Name it to Tame it,” “Pause-Point-Pick,” “Repair Script”)

  • A mini-mission to practice at home or school

  • A closing confidence rep (quick win + track progress)

Kids leave with: a card or QR video that reminds them how to use today’s skill when big feelings show up.

Footer Micro-Bio

Shu has spent two decades blending bodywork, classroom experience, and brain-based mentoring to help kids build calm, confidence, and connection. He helps with “issues in the tissues, pain in the brain, and hurt in the heart”—and turns skills into lifestyle.

  • As parents of a vulnerable teenage daughter struggling with personality disorder symptoms and self-harm, my wife and I went through hell trying to find help.

  • We tried counseling, medication, and private programs, but nothing worked—many only deepened her distrust and isolation.

  • Then we met Mr. Shu. From the first session, it was clear he was different. His expertise is impressive, but it’s his genuine care, adaptability, and ability to truly connect that set him apart.

  • In just months, we’ve seen a remarkable transformation. Our daughter, once withdrawn and self-conscious, is now confident, resilient, socially engaged, and thriving—off medication and growing into a young leader.

    Quote Source

  • We often tear up reflecting on our daughter’s progress. Where we once felt hopeless, we now see a bright future. Mr. Shu has a rare gift, and we are forever grateful for the impact he has had on her life.
